Missing Final Fantasy titles still heading to Xbox Game Pass

Absent, but not forgotten.

A host of Final Fantasy titles promised for Xbox Game Pass back in November 2019 are still coming to the subscription service, Microsoft has recently confirmed.

Back at X019, Microsoft announced that a total of 10 Final Fantasy titles would be available on the service. To date, only 4 titles are accesssible.

True to the company’s word, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII: Remastered, Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy XV (including its Comrades multiplayer) are available. Absent from the service are Final Fantasy X: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy X-2: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

“As we announced at X019, we are excited to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to gamers with Xbox Game Pass,” a Microsoft representative told TrueAchievements. “We have done so throughout 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to announcing specific launch dates for more Final Fantasy titles in the future.”

We’ll keep you informed as to when you can expect the remaining titles. Of that list, which are you most excited for?
