Missed out on P.T.? Try indie-made PuniTy instead

Canadian indie developer Farhan Qureshi has spent 104 hours partially recreating the nightmare corridor from the now cancelled Silent Hills’ teaser P.T. in Unity. Now, the recreation is available for download on PC from Qureshi’s website.

P.T. was unveiled at Gamescom 2014 as a teaser for the Hideo Kojima/Guillermo Del Toro co-developed Silent Hills and made available to download for PS4 on 12 August. Less than one month later the demo had been downloaded over a million times. In March 2015 tensions between Kojima and publisher Konami were widely reported and shortly after, Konami removed P.T. from the PlayStation Store, before removing it completely, even for those who had “purchased” it.

Qureshi’s remake is not a complete 1:1 recreation of P.T. as it’s missing some puzzles and the narrative is entirely absent. It is however, as close as you can get to the original now that it’s gone.

If you play it, let us know how it compares.
