Microtransactions heading to Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Activision has recently announced the inclusion of microtransactions within Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

A new, optional virtual currency will exist in-game, and can be obtained with real-world cash. The currency will allow for additional Supply Drops in multiplayer and Vials of Liquid Divinium in Zombies.

The publisher did stress that “the entire range of new items can be obtained by simply playing the game and trading the Cryptokeys you earn for Supply Drops in the Black Market.”

The new currency will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC.
