Melbourne Queer Games Festival’s Luke Miller chats with Joy FM

The Melbourne Queer Games Festival’s Luke Miller stopped by Joy FM earlier in the month to discuss the festival alongside Miller’s own upcoming game, The Beat.

We’ve embedded the chat for you to have a listen to below. Miller discusses the festival from the start of the recording, and The Beat from around the 7:15 mark.

The Melbourne Queer Games Festival takes place over 22 and 23 October, coinciding with Melbourne International Games Week. The festival is currently accepting submissions for “big games, small games, fun games, serious games [and] trash games” — providing they’re queer. Submissions are being accepted until 15 September.

The festival itself is comprised of an awards programme, special livestream and itch.io games bundle. For more about the festival, head here.

Stevivor is proud to act as official media partner of the festival.
