Mauga is the name of Overwatch 2‘s new Tank Hero, and players will have a chance to test the character out this weekend before a proper release.
Already known to Overwatch players thanks to the 2019 comic “What You Left Behind”, Mauga is an ally of Baptiste and originates from Samoa.
“Equipped with two chain guns (Gunny and Cha-Cha), Mauga is ready to bash through the front lines of his opponents and tear through anyone that stands in his way with tons of fire-power,” Activision Blizzarad said of the Hero.
Mauga also comes complete with an Overrun charging ability that can’t be blocked with crowd control actions, a Cardiac Overdrive that reduces incomig damage and heals allies, and the Cage Fight Ultimate Ability, which traps enemies in a cylindrical fighting ring.
