Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will get a Booster Course Pass that adds a total of 48 new tracks from previous iterations of the franchise over 2022 and 2023.
The DLC will be released in six total installments, with eight tracks included in each. The first drops on 18 March.
Nintendo today confirmed that the Booster Course Pass will include tracks from the likes of Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. We also already know that the 18 March drop will include the Wii Coconut Mall, N64 Choco Mountain, Tour Tokyo Blur and five other courses.
While the content can be purchased separately, Nintendo has advised that the content, like DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons before it, will be inlcuded for free to those who have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscription.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is out now on Nintendo Switch. The first of the Booster Course Pass courses arrive on 18 March.
