Twink Pinocchio awaits.
The Lies of P launch window has been set for August 2023, Neowiz and Round 8 Studio have recently confirmed.
Alongside the Soulslike’s launch date announcement comes a new character trailer.
According to the duo, the new trailer spotlights Simon, “a mysterious figure in the city of Krat — intrigued by monsters that have overrun the once bustling metropolis.”

In case you’ve not heard of Lies of P before, the title is a new take on Pinocchio.
“As Pinocchio, players will wind their way through the streets of a ruined city, crafting weapons from the materials found in the world and interacting with the remaining few who manage to survive in this hellscape,” Neowiz and Round 8 Studio explained.
“The more lies told, the more human players become, with all the advantages and disadvantages it entails. Lies of P features profound narrative choices and deeply customizable character progression to round out its RPG features.”
It surely doesn’t hurt that Pinocchio looks a lot like a twinky Timothee Chalamet this time around.
Expect Lies of P on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 sometime in August 2023.
