LG 2022 TV lineup, Australian pricing detailed

Including new 42" OLEDs.

The LG 2022 TV lineup has been detailed by the manufacturer, and we’ve got the skinny on that plus Australian pricing.

LG confirmed it would offer a 42″ OLED this time around, with sizes going all the way up to a whopping 92″ screen. LG’s OLED evo tech, which promises “enhanced brightness because of a new manufacturing process and an improved processor,” will also be avaliable across its C2 and G2 ranges. For those looking for 8K TVs, LG will offer up 77″ and 88″ models as part of its Z2 range.

Moreover, LG will offer up an extended five-year limited warranty on its Z2 and G2 OLED models.

“All other models will feature the standard one-year Parts and Labour warranty across the company’s TV products,” the company said in a press release.

In terms of gaming, LG is continuing in its endeavour to lure players to ditch their monitors for a TV proper. The LG OLED range offers Game Optimiser and Game Dashboard functionality, allowing for control over features like VRR, ALLM and eARC. A new Dark Room Mode also exists within the Game Optimiser, allowing for further adjustment of screen brightness.

The full LG 2022 range will also offer support for NVIDIA GeForce Now.
