According to an announcement in the Riot forums, League of Legends public beta is due to receive a brand new draft pick mode which allows players to select which champions their opponents use.
Dubbed Nemesis Draft, Riot describe the mode as their first Featured Mode of the year, in which “you’ll be choosing the champions for the enemy team, then making the champs you’ve been given work in battle on the Summoner’s Rift.”
Nemesis Draft is 5v5 and each team will still have the ability to ban three champions. After all five champions have been selected players will be able to select which player will play as which champion in — what Riot Games is calling — a free trade period.
League of Legends is available now for Mac and PC.
