Yep, that’s right. Metal Gear Solid pachinko may soon be a thing, if a recent trademark filed by Konami is anything to go by. Kotaku picked up on this first and noted that the trademark covers “video games, board games, smartphone games, medal games, slot machines, pachinko machines, etc.”
While this doesn’t 100% confirm that these pachinko machines will exist — the trademark covers smartphone and board games as well — it does look like the start of a slippery slope for the once great franchise.
