Konami issues copyright claim on YouTube video investigating Kojima’s departure

A video uploaded by YouTuber Super Bunnyhop two weeks ago — which investigated what exactly happened between Konami and Hideo Kojima — is back online after being issued a copyright notice by Konami.

The video (embedded below) is largely based on speculation and guesswork and while it’s interesting it doesn’t include any great revelations. What does make it interesting is that Konami issued a takedown notice to have it removed from YouTube. The question is why.

Super Bunnyhop took to Twitter to advise that his video had been reinstated, although from his tweet it appears YouTube took action to reinstate the video themselves and not from Konami withdrawing its claim.

Why Konami wanted to have the video removed is a myestery, but at least we can all watch it and try to figure it out for ourselves.
