Just Cause 3 developers Avalanche Studios have revealed that the game will run at different resolutions on the two major consoles.
“We do so much with physics and screen space effects, that we are confident our players will thoroughly enjoy themselves no matter the platform they play the game on,” said game director Roland Lesterlin to GamingBolt.
Just Cause 3 isn’t the first major release to adopt this approach — Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, The Witcher 3, and Need for Speed all used that split too — and it almost certainly won’t be the last.
Just Cause 3 releases 1 December on PLayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
