Jason Mewes stretches acting chops, playing Jay in adventure game Randal’s Monday

Jay and Silent Bob are two of the more beloved goofballs in film, and both will be appearing in upcoming adventure game Randal’s Monday from Nexus Game Studios. While Kevin Smith’s Silent Bob can get away without a voice actor in any cameo, Jason Mewes will be reprising his role as Jay for the game, which also includes Clerks alumni Jeff Anderson in his role as Randal.

If you are making a game based around geek and pop culture references from the 90s and 2000s you are hitting the right notes tapping in to Kevin Smith’s View Askweniverse. Randal’s Monday is currently scheduled for release on PC in US fall 2014, which we are right in the middle of.
