Jackbox Party Pack 9 heads to all “major platforms” in 2022

And we already know what four of its games are!

The Jackbox Party Pack 9 heads to a variety of platforms later this year, and developer Jackbox Games continues to detail titles within it.

First, here are some of the titles that players can expect within the new bundle: Junktopia, Roomerang, Fibbage 4 and Nonsensory.

Let’s detail these known titles.

Junktopia

“At the beginning of Junktopia, players are unlucky humans turned into frogs by a deranged wizard. He may have put you in a bit of a pickle but he’s also rooting for you! This wizard needs your help. He loves weird old human things but he hates their boring backstories. That’s why he needs you to make up some funny facts about them,” Jackbox said, detailing the title.

“Our human/frog heroes embark on a quest where they must buy a strange and mysterious item, give it an amusing backstory and then get it appraised to resell. The player who nets the highest profit margin wins the right to get transformed back into their human form.”

Take a look at Junktopia below.

Fibbage 4

As it’s titled Fibbage 4, Jackbox players likely know what to expect with the franchise. In case you don’t, Fibbage is a lot like Balderdash: players are tasked to create fake answers to questions or definitions in an attempt to fool other players.

Nonsensory

Nonsensory is a silly, laid-back drawing, writing AND guessing game, hosted by Professor Nanners. She’s hoping to test your levels of NSP (Nonsensory Perception),” Jackbox said, announcing the title.

It sounds a little bit like Guesspionage for those who’ve played previous Jackbox Party Packs.

“Can you draw a puppy that’s only a 3 out of 10 on the adorableness scale,” Jackbox continued. “More importantly, how close can you get to guessing the secret numbers of the other players? Is that text message 40% or 50% passive aggressive? Does that meal look like it’s 90% or 100% likely to give you diarrhea? Does that book title sound like it was written for a 10 year old or a 20 year old? Does that weirdly drawn car look like it would cost $40,000… or $40?”

Check it out below.

Roomerang

Roomerang, the salacious reality TV party game, involves responding to prompts, role-playing, and whatever level of competition and drama you bring to the table,” Jackbox said of the title.
