For Honor requires a persistent internet connection

Ubisoft has today confirmed that For Honor will require a persistent internet connection.

“Players will need to be connected to the Internet at all times to play For Honor,” the publisher confirmed via statement.

“Some elements of progression, which are hosted online, are shared across story and multiplayer modes.”

The game last made headlines at the announcement its once-advertised split-screen had been removed.

For Honor heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 14 February.
