Here’s your first look at Magic the Gathering’s Star Trek set

Mark your calendars for 13 November.

Magic the Gathering today provided us with a first real look at its upcoming Star Trek set and cards ahead of their 13 November release date.

“This set unites the timeless gameplay of Magic with the unforgettable stories and characters of Star Trek,” Wizards of the Coast said in a statement. “As Star Trek prepares to celebrate its 60th anniversary, we’ve brought the franchise’s legacy directly to our cards. Seven beloved Star Trek actors individually signed this set’s headliner cards, giving players a chance to bring a piece of galactic history to their collections.”

Wizards of the Coast teased signed cards from William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway).

A look at several Star Trek cards can be found here; the set ranges from 1966’s Star Trek through to 2024’s Lower Decks — and everything in-between (minus Star Trek: Enterprise?) — and feature characters, starships, locales and more. The website also details if the cards are available through booster packs or any other number of things Wizards of the Coast would like to sell you.

Play Booster packs will set Trekkies back $6.99 USD, while the priciest option — the Collector’s Edition Commander Deck — will set you back $159.99 USD.

Players can expect the Magic the Gathering Star Trek set from 13 November.
