Headbangers Rhythm Royale Season 3 coming early April

Time to bop?!

Headbangers Rhythm Royale Season 3 will kick off on 4 April, developer Glee-Cheese has today announced.

Titled “Battle of the Dancers”, the new season will be available on all current platforms.

“Battle of the Dancers includes a brand-new game mode that challenges players to put their best talon forward in a one-on-one rhythm battle and includes a selection of new choreography and tracks,” Glee-Cheese said in a press release.

“The new mode will test players ability to stay on the beat, utilising various powerups to grant them the edge over their feathered nemesis as songs get progressively more challenging, until finally, one pigeon fails and the survivor reigns victorious,” Glee-Cheese continued.

“Battle of the Dancers is separate from our tournament mode,” reads a description tied to the trailer above. “In our tournament mode for Headbangers, players tap, flap, and rap their way to victory in a series of manic musical mini games against up to 29 other player-controlled pigeons, battling their way to become Master Headbanger.”

Headbangers Rhythm Royale is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Switch. It’s also available through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
