GTA V’s Heists update is 4.8GB on Xbox One, 1.2GB on Xbox 360

At long last, Heists in GTA V arrive today/tomorrow (depending on where you live on the planet) but if you’re hoping to jump straight in and play you might be a little disappointed.

To include Heists in the game, an update is required and it seems some users on Xbox consoles have managed to download the patch early, revealing its monstrous size. Twitter user  posted an image (below) of a message on their Xbox One stating the update will require 4.8GB of hard disk space.

Reports from other users on Xbox 360 have suggested the update will require 1.2GB. At the time of writing it is still unknown how large the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 updates will be.

The update adds five online Heist missions, new weapons, vehicles, costumes, Achievements/Trophies and more. Heists were announced when GTA V was released in September 2013 and have been repeatedly delayed. They will be widely available across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One today/tomorrow.

The PC version of GTA V will be available 14 April 2015.
