Giant Skull is a new AAA dev studio with a flashy website

... and with some big talent behind it.

Giant Skull is the name of “a new AAA game studio dedicated to building gameplay-driven, story immersed action-adventure games set in captivating worlds” with Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order‘s Stig Asmussen at the helm.

The studio’s leadership team is packed with talent, with Jon Carr (Star Wars Jedi Survivor), Patrick Murphy (Fortnite), Lauren McLemore (Fortnite), Brian Campbell (Fortnite), and Anthony Scott (Batman Arkham) joining Asmussen.

“The Giant Skull studio culture is founded on creativity and curiosity,” said CEO Stig Asmussen. “We have assembled a talented team renowned for immersive storytelling, heroic combat and exhilarating traversal, and our goal is to craft a rich universe that players will want to lose themselves in for years to come.”

“Our values for the studio translate into how we make our games and our relationship with players – autonomy, momentum, curiosity and respect,” added COO and CFO Anthony Scott. “We want players to join us on every step of this amazing journey, as we pave the way for our upcoming game. We’re creating something special and have been fortunate enough to assemble an incredible initial team of developers who are extremely passionate and experienced in creating genre-defining, third person action-adventures.”

While we don’t know much about the “gameplay-driven, story-immersed, AAA action adventure” game — or games — that’s in the works, curoius players can head on over to the Giant Skull website for a little taste of what to expect.

Here’s a pro tip: once you’ve watched the website’s video, try inputting the following commands after clicking on the interface in the top left:
