Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Special Ops free update comes next week

Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Special Operations updates will be the backbone of new Year 2 content.

Split into four separate updates, the free “Special Operations 1” pack will be available from 10 April and will include the following:

  • Teammate Customization is the number one feature requested by the community and will allow players to customize teammate outfits with all items they have unlocked for their own character.
  • PvP Update: A new game mode called “Sabotage” with five exclusive maps,  the first of six new PvP classes for Year 2 and new perk and explosive device.
  • PvE Update: A free special themed PvE mission and special challenge with exclusive rewards.

The content includes planned updates 5 & 6 from Ubisoft’s original Ghost War roadmap. Ghost War itself was introduced back in March 2017 and is a 4v4 PvP mode.

Moreover, Ubisoft has today announced Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ Year 2 pass, which will offer seven-day early access to all six new Year 2 Ghost War classes alongside eight Battle Crates (4 Special Ops and 4 Ghost War crates).

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
