Gamescom Asia will debut in Singapore in 2020

Gamescom Asia was recently announced, an eastern version of the Germany-based event.

The event will take place between 15-18 October 2020 and will be held at Singapore’s Suntec Singapore Convention Centre, a report by GamesIndustry states. Like the Cologne, Germany event that takes place each August, Gamescom Asia will be split into public and industry segments; industry will be hosted between 15-16 October and the public between 17-18 October.

Organiser Koelnmesse says it hopes this eastern-focused event will serve as “a hub for international publishers who are looking for the next big thing in game.”

Gamescom 2019 takes place over 20-24 August in Colongne, Germany; last year’s event attracted over 370,000 people from around the globe.
