Game On Cancer Day fundraising for breast cancer research

Get behind this.

Game On Cancer Day is a three-day event fundraising for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) research.

The event will take place between 24-26 March and is looking to raise $100,000 AUD.

That amount of money is what is needed to fund the research work of Dr Chen Li, who is investigating new ways to treat TNBC.

“It is my privilege to be involved in this ever-first Game On Cancer Day charity drive organised by Cure Cancer Australia,” said Dr Li. “I am extremely grateful for the contributions from our generous donors, allowing me to conduct exciting research on triple-negative breast cancer. I sincerely hope this event is a fun learning opportunity that provides crucial support needed for high-quality research.”

A steady stream of Aussie content creators will be helping the drive, raising funds using Tiltify. At the time of writing, the event is at $600 AUD of its $100,000 AUD goal.

An online auction will also help to raise funds, with the following swag on offer:

  • TCL 75-inch C735 QLED 4K Android TV
  • Kings of Neon Call of Duty Cartel GHOST LED Neon Light
  • Signed merchandise from UFC Middleweight Rob Whittaker
  • Four (4x) AFL Medallion Club Tickets to Western Bulldogs V Hawthorn Saturday 29th April 4:25PM Marvel Stadium
  • Five (5x) ‘Four N Twenty’ Prize Packs featuring Bluetooth speaker, cooler bag, socks and beanie

Bidding in the auction will be allowed until 27 March.

We wish much success to the initiative and implore you to donate if you’re able.
