LucasArts classic adventure game Full Throttle is getting the remastered treatment courtesy of Double Fine and PlayStation.
Like this year’s Grim Fandango and the upcoming Day of the Tentacle remaster, Full Throttle will be completely remastered and released for PC, PS4 and PS Vita. Double Fine has stated that the remaster will “feature all new artwork, with high resolution backgrounds and animation, with each frame being repainted by hand.”
The developer also noted, “We’ll be aiming to restore the sound and music to a higher quality, and we’ll also fill the game with special features like concept artwork, commentary tracks and as many other things as we can think of!”
A brand new trailer for Day of the Tentacle was also unveiled. Check it out.
Day of the Tentacle will be available in 2016. Full Throttle will be available in 2017.
