Final Fantasy XV‘s Game Director, Hajime Tabata, confirmed that the game’s next big reveal will take place at Gamescom and not E3.
Tabata said his team doesn’t have enough time ahead of E3 to prepare for what they’d like to show. Gamescom, which takes place between 6-9 August, provides ample time, he asserted.
Square Enix is taking Nintendo’s place this year at E3 with a press conference of their own. We expect at least a passing mention of the game during E3, this June.
