Final Fantasy XV demo will block Share Play on PS4

The limited release demo of Final Fantasy XV, Episode Duscae, will block the Share Play feature according to game Director Hajime Tabata.

The official reason for the decision is that the game is simply a demo, so of course it has nothing to do with limiting the number of people who can play the demo to those who buy Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Buying games just to play the included demo might have been a thing a decade ago, but if any game inspires that kind of “back to the past” fervour for a demo it is the Final Fantasy series.

Episode Duscae will be included as a download code in first print retail copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which is out for PS4 and Xbox One 20 March.
