Fallout 76 beta is “the full game”, progress carries over

The Fallout 76 beta will offer the chance to play “the full game” and player progress will move into its retail release, Bethesda has confirmed.

Bethesda has updated the game’s official FAQ to make the confirmation.

“Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch,” the post reads. “We hope you join us!”

The beta is expected sometime in October and will take place across all available platforms: Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Considering this news, it’s likely there will be some sort of time gate on the beta that will leave participants wanting more when the game is officially released. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Fallout 76 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 14 November.
