Yeah Nah are the 2018 AUNZ Splatoon 2 Cup champions

Team Yeah Nah (pictured above) has walked away from Supanova Melbourne as the 2018 AUNZ Splatoon 2 Cup champions.

While Yeah Nah seemed unstoppable, winning the contest 5-0 win against second place team ScarthAce, things were actually quite close. The first game was decided by just a 0.2% difference.

Pretty intense, eh?

Yeah Nah will now represent Australia at the Splatoon 2 World Championship in Los Angeles over 11-12 June. E3 2018 runs over the same period; check out what Nintendo has planned for the big event here.

Splatoon 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
