TORNADO ENERGY crowned as WGL World of Tanks’ Grand Finals 2017 World Champion

TORNADO ENERGY has taken home the the top spot in the Wargaming.net League World of Tanks Grand Finals 2017. The squad beat out DiNG 7-2 in the final bout.

“The competitive action on display was incredible all weekend long,” said Vladislav ‘NESKWI’ Kanaev of TORNADO ENERGY. “Wargaming has come far in terms of the sheer size and organization of their events. It felt like a real life sports tournament, with thousands supporters cheering us all through to the final! It’s was a tough tournament for us, and the team showed their best performance.”

For their efforts, TORNADO ENERGY was awarded $150,000 USD, with DiNG earning $75,000 USD for second place. Not So Serious and Elevate took home $27,500 USD each for third and fourth places, respectively. The remaining teams — El Gaming, Kazna Kru, OOPS and Na’Vi — each walked away with $5,000.

World of Tanks is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
