Rainbow Six Oceanic Cup, Summer Series detailed by Ubisoft

The Rainbow Six Oceanic Cup and the Rainbow Six Summer Series were today detailed by Ubisoft.

The Rainbow Six Summer Series starts first, beginning on 19 January 2019. Running over 4 weeks, the online, single elimination, best-of-3 tournament will put 16 ANZ teams against one another. Teams from the ANZ Pro League Season 9 receive an automatic invitation to the tournament, with remaining teams from the upcoming Go4 tournament (taking place on 13 January 2019) filling the gaps. Players 15-years-old or older are welcome to compete for the Summer Series’ $5,000 AUD prize pool.

The top four teams from the Summer Series will qualify for the Six Oceanic Cup. This tournament is a 2-week, single elimination, best-of-3 tournament that starts on 16 March. Semi-finals take place a week later on 23 March 2019.

“More details about the Six Oceanic Cup, including the prize pool, ticket availability and qualification process for the four remaining tournament spots, will be shared in 2019,” Ubisoft said.

Rainbow Six: Siege is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
