Overwatch League All-Star Weekend game modes detailed

Overwatch League All-Star Weekend game modes were today detailed by Blizzard.

Taking place on 27 August, the All-Star game will be broken up into five custom games played across five maps. Today, Blizzard confirmed those game types as follows:

  • Lucioball Showdown
  • Mystery Heroes
  • Widowmaker 1v1
  • Talent Takedown
  • Lockout Elimination

Blizzard also confirmed that each division’s starter All-Stars will play on the first map, but each division’s 12 reserve players will be rotated in to play at least one mode during the event.

Australia’s own Scott ‘Custa’ Kennedy has been confirmed as an All-Star starter.

Moreover, Blizzard has confirmed the availability of two special All-Star skins — Atlantic All-Star Tracer and Pacific All-Star Genji, both above. They’ll each be available for 300 Overwatch League tokens between 18-28 August.

The Overwatch League All-Star Weekend will be streamed live on TwitchOverwatchLeague.com, the Overwatch League app, MLG.com, and the MLG app.

Overwatch itself is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
