MotoGP 18 ESport Championship starts in July

The MotoGP 18 Esport Championship returns this year, across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Starting 18 July, “the first four challenges are raced at COTA, Sachsenring, Losail and the Red Bull Ring and will take place until August,” a press release declared.

“The live on-site Semi Final 1 event will take place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in September and feature the fastest 12 gamers.”

An additional four challenges will be held around Phillip Island, Mugello, Sepang and Buriram and will take place over September and October. A Grand Final event will close things up on 16 November, offering a BMW M240i Coupé as the main prize.

The contest will make use of MotoGP 18, available from 7 June on a Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. A release on Nintendo Switch follows at a later date.
