GG EZ, Melbourne’s first Esports bar, opens on 7 September

Melbourne’s first Esports bar, GG EZ, will open in the second week of September.

Expect the bar’s grand opening from 5.00 pm AEST on Thursday, 7 September, a tad later than its originally planned August opening.

“After many months of hard work, Lachlan McAllister and the GG EZ team are ready to open the doors of Australia’s new home of Esports.  From 5pm September 7th, GG EZ will officially open to the public, and everyone is invited to a celebration that will go on late into the night,” a recent press release reads.

“To celebrate the opening of GG EZ, the first people through the door will receive 1 of 300 limited edition GG EZ pins, as well as complimentary samples of GG EZ’s alcoholic bubble teas and a range of snacks from the Californian/Korean fusion menu.”

GG EZ has a super-late liquor license, able to accommodate the broadcast of late-night Esports tournaments. Unlike similar gaming-themed bars in Australia, it won’t feature playable consoles.

GG EZ is located at 93-95 Queen Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
