EA Sports F1 24 coming May, with cars driveable in F1 23

Those who own previous years' outings will get a discount on this new one.

EA Sports F1 24 was today detailed by EA, and is expected on PC and consoles from 31 May.

To promote the new racer, EA also confirmed that EA Sports F1 23 will offer Time Trial challenges with “selected all-new 2024 team cars prior to this weekend’s opening race by pre-ordering” F1 24.

Moreover, those who own either F1 2021, F1 22, or F1 23 will receive a 15% discount on the EA Sports F1 23 Champions Edition. The souped-up version is regularly priced at $139.95 AUD without any discounts factored in.

“For the first time, our F1 23 players can now connect immediately with the 2024 season with some of their favourite teams ahead of this weekend’s first Lights Out,” said Codemasters’ Lee Mather. “Our full reveal is coming soon, and we’re bringing players an overhauled Career mode, a new EA Sports Dynamic Handling System, and so much more.”

The Champions Edition also comes with three days of early access to the title, so those who pony up can play from 28 May.

EA Sports F1 24 heads to Windows PC via EA App, Steam, and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 31 May.
