Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally, finally confirmed

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was finally announced by Capcom, much to the delight of long-suffering franchise fans who’ve been waiting years for this news.

Hideaki Itsuno, the Director of the original Dragon’s Dogma, made the announcement during a special franchise event.

Famitsu has confirmed with Capcom that the title will be built using its RE Engine, the driver of most of its recent games including Resident Evil Village, Street Fighter 6 and Devil May Cry 5.

We’ll have more on Dragon’s Dogma 2 as it is made available by Capcom. It’s as yet unclear when — or on what platforms — the title will be released upon.
