Dota 2‘s 7.00 patch is causing a lot of mixed reactions across the internet.
The huge patch — with full patch notes that can be found here — has sweeping, rather drastic ramifications for the popular game.
Among massive changes to pre-game setup, the HUD, multipliers, weapons, attacks and more is the addition of a new hero, the Monkey King, and new map.
Some fans are excited about what Valve is calling the “New Journey”, while others are decidedly disappointed. Others still simply don’t know what to make of the changes.
Dota 2's 7.00 update is such a drastic upgrade it's the kind of thing that should be re-reviewed on game sites. Everything is overhauled. <3

Oh boy Dota 2 7.00 patch. They spent a decade and a bit perfecting the balance, and when they got to 99% they decided to start over.
