Doctor Fate is Injustice 2’s newest hero

NetherRealm and Warner Bros. today confirmed Injustice 2‘s newest hero as Doctor Fate.

Powered by a magical helmet, amulet and cape, Doctor Fate’s latest incarnation is a man named Khalid Nassour. It’s unclear which iteration of Doctor Fate will appear in the fighter.

One thing is very clear, though — with enhanced strength, invulnerability and magic powers, Doctor Fate is poised to be a major player in Injustice 2.

Injustice 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 in May.
