Stephen Fry provides his silky voice to Destiny 2 Warmind

Stephen Fry — actor, comedian, activist and all-around hero — has a small part in Destiny 2′Warmind expansion, developer Bungie has confirmed.

According to PC Gamer, Fry voices the AI system at the Clovis Bray facility; he’s overheard during the Will of the Thousands mission. The site goes as far to assume that Fry is actually portraying Clovis Bray himself, who then used his own voice for the company’s AI public address system. That’s not been confirmed, but we dig the idea.

This isn’t Fry’s first foray into games — he’s previously lent his voice to the LittleBigPlanet series, Fable 2 and Fable 3 alongside a handful of Harry Potter titles.

Destiny 2 and its Warmind expansion are available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Our review in progress can be found here.
