Shannon Noll will captain an Esports team because reasons

Shannon Noll will captain a celebrity Esports team promoting Lenovo’s Legion of Champions Series IV, it was today announced.

Noll will head up the Motley Squad, training to take on actual players.

I can’t wait to begin recruiting some fellow celebs to take on some of the regions top gamers in November at Lenovo’s Legion of Champions tournament,” Noll said of the gimmick.

“People still have an outdated idea that only hardcore gamers are interererested in gaming. That’s just not true. My kids play, and I’m here at PAX meeting all kinds of people – from lawyers to doctors, kids to grandparents. I’m excited to assemble the rest of the Motley Squad and show how people with different lives and experiences can come together to enjoy gaming together.”

FaZe Hazz will help train Noll and his team for the competition, which features PUBG and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The competition starts up November 2019. More information on Australia and New Zealand Qualifiers can be found here.
