Destiny’s next patch nerfs the auto rifle, Raid cheesing and the second Loot Cave

A new patch for Destiny is about to hit, detailed at Bungie’s website, and nerfs both the auto rifle and the game’s second Loot Cave.

Auto rifles had previously been acknowledged as too over-powered and accurate, so those stats have now been lowered. The second Loot Cave refers to The Fallen spawn point in the Rocket Yards. Says Bungie, “The Fallen have also retreated from their hold over the Rocket Yard to discuss a new takeover plan.”

Also included in the list are tweaks to weapon swapping and an exploit that allowed for easy dispatching of a “Vault of Glass” boss.

The patch will be applied from today.
