Destiny 2 will get HDR support on PS4 after launch

A recent PlayStation-centric Destiny 2 trailer has confirmed the game will receive HDR support after its launch.

Providing your TV is capable, both the original PS4 and PS4 Pro support HDR. The news that Destiny 2 will take advantage of this was announced in the trailer below.

At the moment, it’s unclear if the same HDR support will be patched into Destiny 2 on Xbox One S. That console is capable of HDR, though the original Xbox One is not. The upcoming Xbox One X also supports HDR.

We’ll have more when it’s known.

Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 6 September, followed by a release on Windows PC from 24 October.
