Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One, PS4 on 6 September; 26 October on PC [UPDATE]

Destiny 2 heads to both Xbox One and PS4 on 6 September and PC on 26 October, Activision today confirmed.

Activision’s blog today confirmed the release dates alongside those of the game’s upcoming betas.

Those who’ve pre-ordered the title will gain access to the beta at different times, depending on platform:

  • PlayStation 4: 18 July at 10.00 am PDT (19 July at 3.00 am AEST)
  • Xbox One: 19 July at 10.00 am PDT (20 July at 3.00 am AEST)
  • PC: TBD August

Those who haven’t pre-ordered the title on PS4 or Xbox One will gain access to the beta from 21 July at 10.00 am PDT (or 22 July at 3.00 am AEST).

The PC version of Destiny 2 will make exclusive use of Blizzard’s Battle.net service, while those on PS4 will gain access to exclusive content.

Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 6 September, followed by Windows PC on 26 October.
