Destiny 2 cross-save release date set for August

The Destiny 2 cross-save release date has been set for later this month across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, developer Bungie has confirmed.

From 21 August, players will be able to head to Bungie.net to set up cross-saves. Moreover, the developer will make available a tool that will help to migrate Destiny 2 PC accounts from Battle.net to Steam; available from 20 August, it’s ahead of the game’s migration on 1 October.

“With Cross Save, you’ll be able to access the same set of Guardians on one Active Account wherever you play Destiny,” Bungie said of the upcoming feature.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Its next expansion, Shadowkeep, heads to those plaforms and Google Stadia from 1 October.
