Destiny 2 Beyond Light Deep Stone Crypt Contest Mode detailed by Bungie

Destiny 2 Beyond Light‘s Raid, Deep Stone Crypt, drops this weekend. Ahead of time, developer Bungie has detailed the Contest Mode restrictions that will be applied to the Raid over its first 24 hours.

Those interested in Contest Mode are more interested in becoming the World’s First Raid team to complete Deep Stone Crypt. As such, they’ll have to work within the following guidelines:

  • Contest Mode will cap players at 20 Power below each encounter for 24 hours.
  • Artifact Power will be disabled during Contest Mode.
  • 1230 Power is your team’s goal to be at the cap for all the encounters.
  • Being above 1230 will not provide additional advantage in the final fight.

Deep Stone Crypt will become available from 4.00 am AEDT on 22 November. Those who complete the Raid before 4.00 am AEDT on 2 December will be able to purchase the Europe-ready Raid jacket from the Bungie Store.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s also playable through backwards compatibility on Xbox Series S & X and PS5.
