Destiny 2 Arc classes get a permanent buff

Destiny 2 Arc classes will soon receive a permanent buff, as celebrated by a special week long event called Arc Week.

Starting at the game’s weekly reset on 10 April here in Australia, Arc Week is a way for developer Bungie to make its players aware of all the changes. Titans using the Striker’s Code of the Juggernaut (bottom path) will find both weapon and melee damage will be increased.

The Hunter Arcstrider’s Way of the Warrior (top path) will benefit from bonus melee damage that can be stacked alongside greater heals on kills. The Arcstrider’s Way of the Wind (bottom path) benefits from an increased dodge recharge bonus, increased Disorienting Blow and bonus grenade and melee damage. Finally, Warlock Stormcallers will find increase damage and chained damage.

A full list of Arc class buffs can be found here.

As for Arc Week itself, expect a bunch of goodies.

“The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns,” Bungie advised.

Arc Week will also provide the chance to obtain the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. Guardians have from 10-24 April to revisit the Cosmodrome, get a bit hit of nostalgia and walk away with the powerful weapon.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
