Dead by Daylight to recieve graphics, UI update and more

Things are a-changin'.

A series of new Dead by Daylight enchancements including a graphics and UI update are in the works by developer Behaviour Interactive.

First, the UI update will clean up a player’s HUD, simplifying the game’s look and feel while at the same time adding a host of useful information.

Players will now be able to see fellow players and their characters in the top-left of the screen, alongside an indication of how many times a fellow player has been hooked. Players will also be able to scale UI text to make it larger or smaller, depending on preference.

Moreover, the 4v1 multiplayer title will beef up its graphics in addition to sporting new survivor locomotion animations. Matchmaking rankings will be re-introduced to the game, with skill-based matchmaking also making its return. New rank rewards will be implemented as a players’ overall ranking will no longer be used to matchmake.

Finally, a series of quality of life changes will alter the perks of both killers and survivors. For a full list, head here.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
