DayZ will become part of the Xbox Game Preview program sometime this year, developer Bohemia Interactive (re)affirmed.
Taking to a tweet, Bohemia also teased an eventual PS4 release.
“Yes! Coming to Xbox Game Preview at some point this year, we’re not sure about PS4 yet, but we’ll release there too, eventually – just don’t know when yet,” Bohemia wrote in response to a fan question.
Bohemia is also hard at work on PC update .63 of DayZ, adding vehicles, vaulting, swimming and changes to combat, maps and player counts. The update, originally scheduled for 2017, was pushed back to later this year. It’s likely DayZ will head to the Xbox Game Preview program once DayZ enters its beta phase on PC.
DayZ was confirmed for the Xbox Game Preview program back in 2015.
