Rejoice, PS5 and Xbox Series players!
The Cyberpunk 2077 current-gen update is now available, offering those on Xbox Series S & X and PS5 the chance to play an upgraded version of the title at no additional cost.
The current-gen upgrade is part of Cyberpunk 2077‘s Patch 1.5.
According to developer CD Projekt Red, the update “takes advantage of the additional power of the newest generation of console hardware, allowing for ray tracing features and 4K with dynamic scaling on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, faster loading times, and a variety of other visual and technical improvements.
“On PlayStation 5, the game will additionally utilize the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback functionalities.”
Moreover, CD Projekt Red is offering a free, five hour time-limited trial on all current-gen consoles. The trial will be on offer until 15 March, with progress able to be transferred into the retail version of the title.
