Crash Bandicoot 4 multiplayer modes confirmed

A variety of Crash Bandicoot 4 multiplayer modes were recently revealed by Activision and Toys for Bob and encompass competitive and co-operative play.

Competitive play comes in the form of two modes: Checkpoint Race and Crate Combo. The former will task players to race from checkpoint to checkpoint, while the later also requires players to smash the most crates as they run to be first past the post. Players will be able to play as one of four characters in competitive modes: Crash, Coco, Fake Crash and Fake Coco.

If you’re more of the friendly type, Crash 4 will also offer up a co-operative Pass N. Play Mode, letting up to four players work through the campaign together. How wholesome!

Crash Bandicoot 4 It’s About Time heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 2 October. We previewed it here.
