The Indonesia-based Toge Productions is hard at work on a sequel.
Coffee Talk 2 Hibiscus & Butterfly has been announced Indonesia-based devleoper Toge Productions and is targetting a 2022 release on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch.
The original Coffee Talk was released in early 2020 and received praise from critics and players alike. Set in an alternate universe where supernatural beings share the world with humans, the visual novel tasked players to chat with and play barista to the likes of elves, werewolves, vampires and more.
We enjoyed it so much, we created a drinks guide to help out wannabe baristas.
Hibiscus & Butterfly will return to the same coffee shop, with some familiar faces returning to the fold. We can expect to catch up with Freya the writer and Jorji the police officer alongside newcomers including Rionna the opera singer.

The original Coffee Talk is currently available on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. Expect the sequel in 2022.
