The first look at Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 gameplay was today provided by Sledgehammer and Activision Blizzard, alongside news of special editions, an upcoming beta, and pre-order bonuses.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 gameplay
The new trailer, below, focuses on an underwater operation that looks to take inspiration from the open-ended missions found within Modern Warfare 2.
In the video, you can check out gun play, takedowns, and stealth.
The video also confirms information about a beta, the return of the Vault Edition and pre-orders, but we’ll get to that in a second.

There are two versions of Modern Warfare 3, as follows:

There are two sets of pre-order bonuses, depending on the edition you wish to purchase.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 beta
An open beta will be available for at least two days, with those who pre-order gaining additional access. Dates are not yet known, and it’s rumoured the beta will be extended even further on PlayStation.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is planned for a 10 November release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PS5. Pre-orders will get one week of early access to its campaign.
